Public Transportation Infrastructure Study

Bay Area-based Kimley-Horn and Associates chose The Lockwood Agency to handle public outreach and education on this multi-faceted study designed to help Fresno County plan its infrastructure and be prepared for future growth. The project involved development of a logo and tagline to brand the study, multiple public meetings, community event participation, media relations, eblasts, poster and flier development and development of extensive databases to ensure inclusion of key stakeholders and communities.

World Ag Expo

The Lockwood Agency celebrated 22 years of helping the International Agri-Center promote its signature event – World Ag Expo. The Lockwood Agency provides media relations support and staff the Media Center during Expo, helping media find their story and meet their deadline, and writing daily newsletters and news releases.

Visalia Medical Clinic

The Lockwood Agency recently completed a complete overhaul of for Visalia Medical Clinic. The previous site was out of date, and VMC administrators sought a fresh new look, with prompt and regular updates, and an emphasis on health education. The Lockwood Agency delivered and now handles updates.

Pipkin Detective Agency

Pipkin Detective Agency chose The Lockwood Agency to handle all details of the company’s upcoming 25th anniversary celebration. TLA created the save-the-date and invitation, is handling all details of event management and provides media relations for this thriving company.

One Clean Event

Hundreds of people attended ServiceMaster by Beneventoís 25th anniversary celebration this month thanks to a successful Lockwood Agency marketing campaign, which included event management coordination. The Lockwood Agency designed ServiceMasterís highly popular giveaway item, 1GB thumb drives embossed with ServiceMasterís logo. The thumb drives allowed attendees to instantly participate in the fun by sliding their drives into a computer to find out if they were the lucky winner of a $250 gift certificate for house cleaning. Guests also got the chance to participate in a multi-chamber ribbon cutting, take tours of ServiceMasterís Visalia office and ServiceMasterís Clean Machine, a NASCAR vehicle.

The Good Times Rolled

The Tulare County Fair recently wrapped up a successful 2009 run, thanking among others, The Lockwood Agency. Early reports show the fair experienced increases in attendance, revenues and gate sales Ė a tremendous feat in this economy. Fair Chief Executive Officer Geoff Hinds thanked The Lockwood Agency for its efforts including its public relations work which resulted in print, TV and radio coverage.

Wishes Came True

Itís been a magical month at The Lockwood Agency after working with California Law Enforcementís Wish Upon A Star. September was a big month for the organization, which grants wishes for children in California who have high-risk or life-threatening illnesses. As Wish Upon A Star headed into September, the organizationís big fundraising month, The Lockwood Agency lent a helping hand. The Lockwood Agency helped Wish Upon A Star with its public relations campaign and coordinated event management for Shave the Brave and the organizationís annual Dinner-Dance and Car Show.
